Under the European High Level Group on Competitiveness of IAA (High Level Group), the French administration has suggested to add the ISO 22 000 standard to the texts mentioned in the "hygiene package". That the Commission European welcomed. This formalizes the political support of the French authorities to ISO 22 000. In addition, ISO 22000 certified manufacturers could benefit from a risk score from "light" during the planning of official controls on them.
